FishCenter is a lie. You think you are merely watching fish. What you are actually witnessing is the perpetuation of a power grab as old as time. Front and center within this web of deceit is the fish known as Greenbird (aka Greenberg). Greenbird/Greenberg is both puppet and master; his ascendance within the FishCenter ranks is not by chance.
FishCenter viewers may have already noticed (if not consciously) a peculiar deference made toward this small wrasse: bonus points awarded out-of-nowhere; callers voicing support while also sounding in a daze, as if forced (or drugged). Could it be that Greenbird/Greenberg is simply an innocent participant prone to the same rules as the other fish? The answer is no.
Insider information from within Williams Street has shed light on nefarious dealings behind the scenes. The higher-ups at Adult Swim and Turner Broadcasting consistently have protected Greenbird/Greenberg—altering Coin Quest scores and punishing those who didn't "play ball." We have obtained damning e-mails that outline a conspiracy of favoritism fueled by fear.
Why Fear?
Greenbird/Greenberg is more—much more—than fish. A latent power resides within Greenbird/Greenberg that, if unleashed, yields devastation. Does Greenbird/Greenberg even exist?
This leaked image (above) from FishCenter Studios seems to suggest that Greenbird/Greenberg may not even exist and may actually be a 3D-augmented-reality illusion. Masters of animation, Adult Swim certainly possesses the brains and capital to pull off such trickery. The high-end tech that allows animated coins to be placed in infinite permutations in the tank could be rigged to create a digital swimming avatar for Greenbird/Greenberg.
A computer-generated Greenbird/Greenberg might account for the bizarre series of glitches that occurred during both the November 20th and January 2nd editions of FishCenter. The degraded appearance only afflicted Greenbird/Greenberg, not the other fish. (Video files of each broadcast have since been deleted.)
In addition, our inside source has revealed that not all FishCenter shows are recorded live. This supports claims that the games are not decided through merit and skill. With clever editing and Greenbird/Greenberg in their control, FishCenter can ensure whatever outcome they—The Council of 8-Men—deem right. This is a travesty and completely unfair to the other fish.
